I only play games occasionally, but my partner is also in his mid-40s, and he's a hardcore gamer.

You're never to old for gaming. Video games are still quite a new thing which, is why there are not many pensioners playing them.

I'm playing video games until the day I die. You're never too old. Who knows what games will be like in just 20 years.

There's no age limit on gaming. I'll still be playing videogames even when I'm old as dirt.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's 30 AND RISING. Sure some video games came out before I was born, but home gaming systems (and computer games) didn't really start coming out until shortly after. Most people start hobbies while they are still in school (so, including college years, roughly 5 - 22, or so), so, really people of all ages are playing games, especially when you consider that the average life expectancy is somewhere in the 70s, once the average age of the people doing something is somewhere in the 30s, it's probably common in basically all age groups.

I think it's okay at any age as long as you don't live in your parents basement as a slobby old bachelor.

You mean to tell me I can't play WoW for hours on end while eating mustard sandwiches in my Mother's basement? WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE ME!

You're only too old when you can't move your finger joints anymore.

My Dad is 54 and he still likes Zelda, Mario, the usual. You're never too old.

No age. Is too old. For GAMING.

Do what you wanna do in life.

My uncle is 54 and he introduced me and my cousin to video games (specifically Zelda), believe it or not. There's solid proof. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

If you grow out of gaming, chances are you haven't grown up; you've gotten too busy for them, or have gotten to be what I'd call "an old fogey." :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

There's definitely no such thing as being too old for video games.

I'm a gamer for life! I don't really care if people think I'm too old or whatever. All of my friends play video games too, so I don't see any reason to stop either.

Nah, that's just when you need to get adaptive controllers. And besides, some of the newer systems don't even need you to move your finger joints.

OT but I loves your Tails avatar. I loved Tails growing up and had a stuffed animal I carried everywhere.

That's the best answer anyone can give  I still enjoy gaming and have been gaming for 20 years now. I have family members and friends who still game that are in their 40 and 50s. As lang as you enjoy it there is no reason to stop
