Realised at 17, tolerated it a few months later, but working on acceptance (over a year later). Great timez. I guess it takes longer for some than others

I was 10/11 when I had my first crush, and I struggled with it for a long time. I finally cam to terms with it about 2 years ago, at age 22.

well, i accepted it at the age of 19, but still i cant face it but yeah i've accepted it for sure (had hook up with two guys). The confusion & dilemma was going on for years emerging each time urge hitting me, from the time i was 12 years old. At the time i wasn't ready at all to accept it. By the time, it took hold of me :frowning2:

Started to seriously question at 14 or 15, and accepted it on 22 February 2014, at age 16.

    Early-mid 20s. It was a gradual process.

I never had any sort of internalized homophobia so it wasn't as if I was had any sort of "I know I like girls but I'm going to try and deny it and hate myself" phase, but I did go through a questioning period (about half a yearish) where I wasn't really sure of my sexual orientation. This was because I was 14 and I developed sexual and romantic feelings for my friend (girl) but I didn't know if this made me bi or not because I wasn't sure if my feelings for girls before her would be considered attraction.

Personally I don't like putting my sexuality into "a box". My opinion is to let people fall in love & have a relationship with who they want to at that time. Gay, straight, bi, transgender, ect. are labels.
    My sexuality is fluid.

I accepted it now (27), but I'd been hiding/denying/struggling with it since puberty.
