In the frantic race backwards, Mississippi takes a great leap behind.

These are the same people who will claim religious persecution when they don't get their way. Wouldn't Trump and most Republicans be affected by this law though? To discriminate against single mothers (what about single fathers?), unwed couples etc. is pretty extreme.

If this passes Mississippi will be a worse place to be gay than even Africa or the Middle East. So many people will die since they will denied fundamental rights like owning a home, having a job or accessing medical care based on their sexual orientation.

That people could write this law, let alone consider passing it is, in a supposedly first world country is terrifying to me. This is nothing more than blatantly legalizing hate and discrimination.

What also happens in these type of "situations" , business do not set up shop (open) in such areas. This ultimately creates poverty which creates lower taxes which fosters inadequate education. This scenario starts a domino effect of failure.

And then, (no dont say it) starts inbreeding and incest. Need I say more.

Exactly, it's pathetic. I wish I had been born in Canada or the UK. This type of ignorance and discrimination is what the republicans support and encourage and will keep the stupid asshats voting them into office, further ruining this shit country and the world. This is not how any government should treat people.

    Unfortunately... yes. :point_up_2:

I for one am getting tired of sitting around and watching it collapse around me. Time to go somewhere more reasonable.
