This is sad

This world has too many of the wrooong kind of people. Why do people have to die just because they're gay? Or just because they're skin color is different? It's the most retarded thing in the world. It really is.
That and the fact that Bush got elected more than once. -_-

He's against gay marriage, and many people feel he's a total screw up. (he just randomly popped into my head while I was typing, my brain makes all sorts of random connections)

That would be Mathew Shephard - His mother has been working to get the hate crimes legislation passed that bears his name. Unfortunately, it's been postponed until fall because of all the stuff going on with the war.

 

The best way to get these things to stop is show them some love. These types of incidents are becoming more infrequent now that GLBT people are living their lives openly, authentically and are telling their stories. You can't hate someone whose story you know.
