^'s wish is my command.

It's a different keyboard layout than the standard "QWERTY" one. It puts all the vowels under your left fingers, and all the most common consonants under the right.



You can buy a Dvorak keyboard (like the one above), or just switch the settings on your computer. Obviously, the keys on your keyboard won't match what you're actually typing - when I hit the "S" key, a "O" shows up - but if you touch-type like I do, that doesn't matter.

< started using it when I began developing carpal tunnel about seven years ago.
It took me a week to be able to start typing without looking at the chart I had printed out next to my monitor.
It took me two weeks to be able to type at a "normal speed" again.
Within a month, I was typing faster than I had before.
And it's helped almost eliminate my CT.
