Vogue - Madonna (274 times). Such a good song :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Scarily enough my top 44 song are exclusively Madonna or Kylie Minogue. That's pretty intense! But I actually listen to more diverse stuff, it's just the classics at the top.

    Here's the list.

I was stuck in bed for two days with a really bad case of food poisoning a few month back. I put the iPod on classical/shuffle, and just left it on pretty much 24/7 as background noise during that time. So all the classical stuff got a bit more play than it would've otherwise.

Also weird to see "." on there. It's actually an untitled bit of backwards tape manipulation at the end of the Art of Noise box set. (I had to name it something.) Why I've listened to that more than anything else by them is beyond me.

I was a bit surprised to see that, despite having quite a bit of music from the 1990s and 2000s (over 2000 tracks), only one song from each decade is on the list. (That'd be Frank Black and the Bravery.) Seeing this yesterday, I started feeling a bit "out of touch" with "the kids today", and so switched to the Modern Rock folder to listen to while I walked to work yesterday. The first two songs the iPod picked:

    "I'm Not a Kid Anymore" - Sloan
"I Am History" - The Bell

This was iPod's way of saying "Stop deluding yourself, Lex - you're old."

Perhaps most surprising - over 7000 songs on my iPod still have never been played.

I play and sing that on the guitar ^_^ I saw them live in Disney World when i went for Senior Trip. At Grad Nite ^_^ It was a pretty cool show, they weren't too terrible live. I just really love this song =).

EDIT: Oh and currently my #1 most played track on Itunes is the cover of the Tool Song "Right In Two" by a Youtube User Irongoddesstea. She's amazing and I love her =P.

The next most played song that is licensed and stuff is Hey You by 311. I don't really use my computer to listen to music though. I should more though, to get an accurate Top 25, because right now it mainly consists of Tool, 311, BSG Soundtracks, The End by The Doors, Limelight by Rush (should be WAY more Rush in there), and Irongoddesstea stuff =P

It seems as soon as I finally get a song into double digits...I have some sort of error, and the playlist resets. That happened about a month or two ago, so here's what it looks like now.

A few things of note. I'm shocked to find FOUR local artists on the list (five if you want to toss the Fray in there). And I even have stuff from THIS century, although not much.

I'm not surprised to see "Space Age Love Song" at the top. I was doing step aerobics about a week ago, and that song popped on the iPod. And the rhythm was just perfect. I kept backing up and repeating the song each time it ended. Apparently I backed up before the song actually ended (which is when it adds to the count), or else it would've been a lot higher.

Yes, this video is the source of the infamous "Flock of Seagulls" hairdo.

Here's what it looked like about a year ago.

You'll note a few band similarities, but no songs in common. That's pretty much par for the course. I remember "Yellow Toast" by Frank Chickens was my most played song for months soon after I got the iPod. But I don't think I've listened to it once in over a year. That's what happens when you let the shuffle button do your work for you.
