The Imaginary girl/boy friend game

Our love is like a double-edged sword. We fight, we bleed, it hurts. Only to find wilted rags and drops of alcohol. Down it goes to our wounds in the hopes that this nightmare will go away. At least for today. At least for today.

 

Jacob & Markus Moment --Things Will Never Be the Same--

J - Hey, so I'm planning on cancelling my plane ticket to NFL.
M - I got that. I kind of figured.
J - Okay. How are you doing?
M - (Takes a deep breath) This whole situation's pretty rotten. My friends back home are going to throw me a pity party and comfort me while they should really be paying attention to Ashley's wedding. My father wouldn't give a rat's ass about me. My mom would just tell me to forget about you. I just feel if you were there everything would have better.
J - I don't think going to NFL as your "friend" would be good an idea for the both of us. I think it would be rather uncomfortable and --
M - I know. This was a mistake. I think I should walk you back to the station.
J - I didn't come all this way to be ushered to the station. Markus...
M - Maybe I won't go to NFL after all...

 

Jacob & Terry Moment --New Beginnings--
J - Happy house warming! Wow this place is really sweet.
T - Yup. Took a lot of work though.
J - I can tell (memorized) woo is this the CUSTOM coach?! It looks amazing!
T - One of a kind. You want something to drink?
J - Yeah sure (sits down) club soda or something fizzy, but less sugar please.
T - (Gives Jacob a look and goes to the kitchen)
J - What!? Heh
(Terry comes in with the drink)
J - Oh before I forget (grabs his bag) Ta dah! Mr. BunBit (a toy rabbit). I kind of took it from your fridge back at your old place. It was on the floor while Kris was helping you pack your stuf-- (Terry tearing up) Are you alright?
T - Kris and I might be breaking up. I don't know what happened. He just kind of went all distant from me after I moved. I feel so stupid. What did I do? I just can't figure it out.
J - Terry everything's going to be fine. You two been together for a long time. I am sure you guys will work things out.
(Terry cellphone rings - Text msg from Kris - I am downstairs. I need to talk to you)

J - Gosh Patrick, I wish I can have my way with you
P - What's that suppose to mean?!
J - You fulfill a fantasy of mine like no other man has. I lust for your affection and your body. I know I really shouldn't have these thoughts, but you were never "second choice" from the very beginning.
P - Things between us are best if it remains this way...

J - Is it? Shall I live a life never knowing how it would feel to do what my heart and body wants?
P - It would be irresponsible of me to take advantage of you given your biological state at your age. It will only end in resentment and distance between us. I can never offer what you want at the end with Jeffery around me. You know better than I do.
J - I have analyzed every detail about you and you're correct. There's no rational reason to be with you. Our major difference in the stage of our lives - age, but what you're forgetting is our similarities. We have more in common than you may think.
P - (grabs Jacob and kisses him) I'm too afraid to lose you...(exits)
