The fact that I'm haunted by the man in the mirror.

I mean, since I'm me, I see my flaws, so I'm still trying to wrap my head around...

I nitpick. I know I have things going well but I'm like, psychotic, I know it's all in my head but it's hard Dx

I just don't want to have any maleness in me, if I can help it.

There is no man in those photos. Just a girl who needs to love herself more and maybe not pressure herself so hard to be absolutely 100% girl, because no one is.

I've just thought, do you ever wear eyeliner? It just struck me how much subtly outlining them would suit you.

 

No I'm totally bad at makeup hahahah, I just do foundation and some mascara. I ALWAYS wanted to wear eye stuff though, make them dark, thought it looked SO cool.

Never learned or really tried how.


Most pics are makeupless and I only straighten my hair or let it curl naturally; trying to grow it out (My goal is to my butt or knees lmao).

 

Something you can do is get a thin, tiny little brush, and some eyeshadow and outline using that. Pencil eyeliner took more practice for me, but it's not impossible- a lot easier if you rest your arm or elbow against the mirror for stability.

Not saying you need make up to be pretty, just that i think your eyes would suit it.

I suggest you to learn putting lipstick on your lips because they are very thin. In fact, there're some techniques to make them appear bigger.
Of course, do it only if you like it.
If you prefer thin lips, there's no problem because they are good the same.

 

I just wanted to second this. If you wanted, you could try makeup, I think it would help, but it's not necessary. You already pass really well and you are absolutely gorgeous.

I just... ugh have so much trouble when I look at pics or in the mirror. Honestly I feel like these are my good pics or angles or something idk...

Yeah, I never really learned makeup, most I do is basic foundation and maybe mascara. I want to learn how to do eyeliner and my lips but it's hard at home with my family, bleh.

Thanks for the suggestions! Yeah my lips do look thin in that picture, but it would never hurt to make them bigger.

Still thinking about FFS for my brow chin and nose though, just to bring everything together and knock out my self conscious areas past my teeth.

I guess a lot of dysphoria comes from the fact that my mother said to her I don't pass and will have trouble... it was a hard blow to take, and I'm still a bit rattled.

 

We judge ourselves most harshly and seek others approval. It's the way of the world. Why do you think I'm such a selfie whore and ask other opinions?

For the first time ever, I wore a suit to a party last night, and it was so awesome I felt far more handsome in that cheap suit, than I ever done in the most beautiful dresses.

I knew a lot of people there, but do you think I passed to people just seeing me?
