The dad rating scale.

My dad: 7
My mom (who I'm already out to): 10

 

Dad=3/10 We don't talk about it and he hopes I'll change
Mum=0 or 1/10 ( The only reason I have given her the benefit of the doubt with 1 is she didn't kick me out)

 

Probably a 9 for my Dad.

My dad would probably be an 8. I know he loves and supports me and everything, and he's not particularly homophobic, but he just doesn't really GET it, you know? Like he thinks gay people are some different species that he doesn't understand. It makes him uncomfortable to talk about it, and he still looks kind of confused every time he hears me talk about a girl I think is hot. But he's trying.

My mom would be a 9. She's bisexual, so that should be expected, but I think a part of her still wishes I could like guys because she knows life would be easier for me if I did. It's confusing. But overall she's very supportive.

dad 6.5 (I don't want to tell him cause he's a social hunter who loves to brag, and I don't want the worst case scenario to be true... cause he makes the meals and buys gifts and drives me home and to college when I need it...)

Dad... I don't really know. Never really talked about relationships or anything before, and nothing has really changed. When I came out, he said "OK". We still get along great and talk about the same things we did before (which is non-homo stuff).

So for dad I'm going to say 7.07+7.07i, where i= square root of -1.

 

My dad is somewhere around 6.5...he knows but we don't talk about it yet he is still accepting of me. This is in his character though as he doesn't talk about feelings and sticks to topics of conversation regarding weather etc.

My mum is 10 because she is always there for me and discusses stuff with me.

He's passed away but... when he was here I don' think I knew him THAT much, even though he lived with us..

My dad, probably 3 maybe 4. He knows but he tends to ignore it and didn't talk to me for ages when I told him.
My mother 9. I was gonna say 10 but I do get the feeling she sometimes wishes I was completely straight. But to be fair she's generally cool about it she has a habit of trying to decide if I have good or bad taste in women [most notably when I bought an FHM calender which prompted her to go through the months going 'she's hot, she's hot, meh not so much, she's VERY hot!' etc... lol]

 

I'll give my Dad a 4, based on the fact that he is an asshole. This isn't based my gayness either.

Mine is 3 or 4.

 

The day I came out, my dad was a 1 and my mom was a 9.
Today, my dad is an 8 and my mom is a 5.
These numbers will continue to fluctuate as they deal with their emotions and expectations. I have faith that someday, they will both be a 10.
