That's so gay!

I hear it almost daily
I just get annoyed in my head but cant tell the person not to say it because im not really out to many people

 

Yes it's bloody irritating unless it's in a video game because then I just laugh thinking how badly they failed at making an insult

 

It does get annoying, but I'm not going to stop them from saying it. The people who I know that say it just use it as a joke, they aren't really serious or homophobic. In fact, some of them are bisexual! I think it's just the 'new' thing to do, and people want to seem cool by saying it.

 

I agree, and I hear so many people say this, so often. However we must accept that some people who say it will be gay and insecure themselves, and don't know how to act around people. But I don't know whether I should stand up for gay people when they say this in case they find out about me and start making fun of me... how ever standing up for yourself is the right thing to do.

 

Wait, people actually say "That's so gay"? That's just so 2003.

 

When I was younger (14ish) I sadly used to say that quite a bit around my friends. I'm happy to say that I've completely removed that connotation of the word from my vocabulary, but I suppose that's not much of an accomplishment considering I'm gay myself.
