Adrisaurus' rendition of Hanging Tree back from when the movie wasn't out yet is much, much better.

The song I've obsessed with for years is "Somnus" composed by Yoko Shimomura.

I have too many to count... But right now, it's Power by Patrick Alavi.

*sigh* I'll bite. I do currently have a song obsession. It's running in my head right now. And even though the artist leans towards the republican end of the political scale, he definitely knows how to music. To this day, it's remained one of my favorite songs of all time.

Some people might have forgotten, but I haven't.

Those who weren't here back in 2012 weren't here to experience my shoving of Florence and the Machine down everyone's throat, nor my constantly longing for the third album. If this song doesn't pull you in than listen to it again. Then keep listening to it until it starts making sense.

Meanwhile, I will still be here waiting patiently for the time when Ms. Welch comes back and bring meaning back into my life.

I don't know that I'd call these "obsessions" but they're just emotional songs that I love.

    The Prodigy-Voodoo People.

I've listened to it for at least an hour per day for the past three days.
I like it just a little.

I can't get walk of shame out of my head. Just when I think it's gone, I go to exercise class and they play it and there it is again.

A Looming Resonance by Wolves In The Throne Room is a song that I just can't help but come back to every night. It's beautiful, calming, hypnotic, majestic, compelling—I could keep this list going for a while. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
