Few things are more beautiful then a snowfall at night.

That being said, I hate snow. Well... I would have no issue with it if it only snowed a few times a year. But I hate the cold, I hate walking in it I hate having to shovel it...

But I love a good snowfall once in a while.... Only once in a while.

When I got to my car this morning, I had to brush the snow off and had to scrape the ice off the windshield, I also just spent about 280 dollars for new winter tires...snow...yay.

Kidding aside, I do love cross-country skiing. My philosophy is if you don't go out and enjoy it, it will be a long and miserable 4-5 months...

I like it to a certain degree. After three feet of snow, though, not so much.

As much as it sucks to drive in, I love snow, and I can't wait for it.

Give me fall anyday. Winter is far too cold for me. I have high tolerance of hot temperatures and low tolerance for cold temperatures. I don't hate snow, but I much rather be sitting on a beach.

I love snow! I hate when it turns to slush and that it turns drivers around here into complete idiots, but a fresh blanketing of snow is so beautiful. I don't know if there's anything more peaceful than a light twilight snowfall. I have no issues with cold temperatures though.

I've found since I got to college that I don't mind the winter as much until I go home for Christmas and then have to drive in it. Nothing like making your entire journey at 15 mph and fishtailing on curves, being forced to make a horrible decision: obliterate the mailbox on your right and end up in the ditch, or hit another car head-on because your car won't stop fishtailing and you can't get out of it.

I get a lot whiter in the winter...

What I love is that you get an excuse not to have to do anything...a break in routine. During the last big blizzard, about 4 years back, I got to stay home 10 days, and it was close enough to walk to stores, restaurants, cozy taverns. That was the life! Not all this working and hurrying about, like some crazed rodent.

One thing I've noted: It seems the majority of people I see in the ditch, having swerved off the road, are in SUVs, which, in fact, failed to make them invincible. I always have to laugh, because I so loathe and detest SUVs.

I hate snow. Talking about winter gives be anxiety. The first snow makes me want to cry. Everyone else are like "Look it's snowing! How cool!" (or whatever), while I'm trying to keep myself from having a break-down. I'm not even exaggerating.

Snow means cold, which equals big, clumsy outwear and toes freezing no matter your shoes. Snow will lead to ice, which will cause me to slip on it and hurt my behind. Snow causes trains to always get delayed. When I was younger, snow lead to kids lining about with snowballs to throw them at you, or hunt you down to press your face into the snow. Yeah, fun times.

Snow is wonderful to look at, not to live in.

Today I was told that this winter is estimated to be the coldest of 33 years.

Only two more winters left after this one, then I can leave this place.

Snow always manages to make me happy whenever I'm sad. I especially like it at night because it muffles the sound of the city and reflects light, so it appears brighter, and things appear more visible. It makes me reminisce about childhood.

Unfortunately, it's more likely to rain than snow here, and last winter, we got virtually no snow at all, but got plenty of flooding. Fun.

I remember visiting Canada about 7 years ago with my grandmother, and saw an exceptional amount of snow. Until that point, the most snow I had ever seen was a few inches at most, but there was probably two feet. Happiest child alive. Still haven't come close to seeing that much snow since, and probably never will here.

To say that I loathe winter (snow, ice, etc.) is to damn it with faint praise. I wish we could just hibernate like any sensible animal. A dusting at Christmas through Epiphany is alright, but after that it can all disappear.

I like snow, but only when I'm on a skiing trip. At home it's just super inconvenient, and it's virtually impossible to ride a bike through some cm of snow.

I used to live in New York, so I'm quite familiar with it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I like it when it's 6-12 inches (15.25-30.5 cm). What they're getting right now in upstate New York is ridiculous with snow totals as tall as I am  (~183 cm/6 ft)

I went to go visit my family once in Virginia (this was like '09 or '10 when they had those huge blizzards back to back). They had gotten three feet of snow (91.5 cm) and it was 8 F/-13 C. That was too much for me.

Had it been a foot and 25 F/-3.88 C, perfect!

There's nothing I love more than snow but I'm quite happy here near the Vermont border instead of out by Buffalo!

I love a good cold, snowy day. Unfortuantely it was too dry to snow that much last year and the polar vortex made it a bit colder than what people are used to around here. Either way, I think that we can all agree that ice can be a real asshole!

    I love snow, it's absolutely beautiful. But, that's probably not a surprise  .

Winter is my favorite season and I LOVE snow. We got a couple of inches here in Chicago last weekend, it was pretty nice. I like snow up until mid-February, but then it starts getting annoying. It's nice in December though.
