    If I know something, is that Soren won't be in the game. Aside that he is an unknown character in comparison to other popular characters, many people would hate another F.E. character. There are a lot of characters from that franchise and a lot of clones, but, if he gets to be a popular character and he get to SSB, then there would be a very big chance of people hating him.

    But it would be great if he gets in.

    Sora from Kingdom Hearts (Maybe since KH has had DS/3DS games?)
    Wilfre from Drawn to Life (Most likely won't happen)
    Red from Solatorobo (Would be amazing, but also probably won't happen)
    Zero from Megaman X (Hopefully since Megaman made it in game?)
    Miyu from Starfox 2 (Know it won't happen since the game wasn't even completed)

    Just listing some games I've played, and feel the characters would fit in. (With one exeption, haha.)
    Heck, if they wouldn't fit as playable characters they would still make sweet Assist Trophies.

    Roy has a completely different play style to marth and anyway soren is a mage, they could incorporate tomes and maybe promotional stuff like knives for his pummel and jab. He could use staves to buff himself like shulk. Then we have a fire emblem character almost as good:thumbsup: as marth!:thumbsup:

    FIre Emblem characters also don't get any love from Sakurai himself, they're all low tier except for B tier Roy. lol even then he still gets destroyed competitively by high tier characters. :frowning2:

    a character is only as good as the player, if i can perfectly predict you next move i can guaranty my victory. tier lists mean nothing other than how easy a character is to use (except Rosalina).

    mach up E.G. Sheik vs Marth! I'll be quick! Sheik is a character that relies on grab set-ups and combos to deal damage though she has a problem killing. Marth on the other hand prefers to keep his distance relies heavily on prediction, while he can kill at 40% he has no guaranteed set-ups ledge guarding is a good method of killing thanks to his quick aerials but Sheiks up-b makes her invincible few frames after use. Marth can safely up-b out of Sheiks combos but Sheik can pull of a finisher quickly during free fall. Marth struggles at approaching which is only gets worse by Sheiks needles forcing him to approach.

    seems bad for Marth, right?

    Marths counter to Sheiks is that they are so predictable, any good Marth will use this to their advantage not just that but Marths moves have more priority, damage and range, it is easy to out space them but if you make a mistake it's over.

    sry that ranted "slightly" about one mach-up but i had to get that off my chest.

    showing off slightly! I took false's Sheik to game 5 with Marth, just saying...

    Rosalina and Luma are broken. lol I've yet to see a Marth that can beat me, its easy to predict him. :slight_smile: I'm not your average player though, I've been in several international tourneys and whatnot.

    I totally agree that tier lists don't always mean anything but some characters are much stronger than others. Zelda is bottom tier trash and I can win easily by abusing Farore's Wind. XD

    Now, we should definitely get back on topic about DLC! We completely hijacked the thread. lol

    Easy to predict! How many Marths have you played? every Marth i come across plays differently to everyone else and each other, you have to learn what they do in certain situation but by that time they've changed, almost predicting your prediction...
