Totally, it's a huge decision. One that will change your life forever, but make sure you focus on the positives as well as those elements that get under your skin. Happy to talk if you need to?

This is kind of a vent and a victory. But I have a firm conviction that I am a man and I will transition. I am not in the right body (not the best way to put it but short and sweet). Hearing my birth name, having to refer to myself as female at times and people using female pronouns pisses me off. I am 100% trans.

I think at this time I'm sure of it. I can tell you one thing, I don't think I've ever wanted anything quite as bad as I want to start transitioning...

Kind of a big victory, but I kind of came out to the special education teacher (who I knew for a year now) in my school today as nonbinary, making her the first person I came out to as nonbinary.

Yesterday, I found out that she's getting orders for shirts that say, for example, "they/them/theirs" and under, "respect my pronouns". So, this morning, I went to her and told her I want one, and she asked which one I wanted, so I said "they". She was kind of surprised. She said I would have to actually ask again next week, but she'll remember.

I bought my first binder! I thought I wouldn't be able to get one until at least next year, so I'm incredibly happy about this.

I had an honors choir yesterday that was a lot of fun. I knew I was going to be a bit dysphoric about my voice and being in a tenor baritone bass (TBB) choir versus a soprano alto tenor bass (SATB) choir, so I tried to convert thst by wearing my girl book fandom shirt and a 3/4 sleeve open front shirt (also girls) over it with a pair of black skinny jeans. I also asked a friend if I could borrow one of their flower crown headbands, a black one, and wore that as well. I was super worried about getting made fun of because I was super feminine presenting. I didn't get made fun of at all or even looked at funnily... Whats more is that a friend of mine made a friend from another school. At dinner, one of our schoolmates asked me why I was wearing the headband. The other friend then told me that I looked like a girl, as a compliment (she knows) and that the friend of hers who she met that day first thought I was a girl until I went with the boys to sing, instead of staying with them. It was pretty sweet knowing that I passed. I did have some slight dysphoria about using my voice basically all day (I'm a bass 2. There is literally nothing lower than me and I can go down in range with the best of basses. I hate being so low but sometimes I enjoy it). I just thought I'd share my victory of passing publicly for the first time and I wasn't even intending too...
Plus, I'm super excited to be able to go to the homecoming dance in a fully female outfit that I got with my stepmom this upcoming weekend!

Got my prescription for T yesterday (IM injections...oh well). Tomorrow I'm going to pick it up at the pharmacy and hang out with my only friend who knows how to inject (my transmasculine friend) and they will teach me how to do my shot. I was kind of surprised that no one at the clinic really pushed for having me go there to learn how to do it. But that is cool because I have that friend! And actually I have watched them do their T shot several times in the past, though that was before I ever seriously thought I would ever go on T in the future, so I didn't pay super close attention.

I got a couple of my friends to start calling me Madison without coming out.

We all sit together in shop, and one of them (a guy) started calling the other (a girl) "Jack". So, she started calling him "Nicole". They said they need one for me. They couldn't think of a name for me. So, I said "What about... Madison?". Maybe it could catch on to the rest of the shop. That would be awesome.

I came out to some friends on FB, in a private chat. I was accepted, and they call me Savannah now! I cried happy tears for the first time in my life!

I just sat "like a girl"(one leg crossed over the other) without thinking about it. Seems silly, but I'll count it, cause it made me smile.

i sit like that all the time. i dont think i've ever sat like a guy. seems confusing to not sit like a girl and more lady like to sit with your legs crossed and on a angle
