Should I Come Back?

Not sure what you mean by 'worth the time and effort' though. You'll get back from EC what you put in. I wouldn't base your decision on what other people think. Do you want to come back? If you don't, that's fine. Don't feel obligated.

 

EC now is basically the same as it was when you left. The reasons you left are probably still here and the reasons you liked it are probably still here. So if you are expecting things to be different you may be disappointed but if you are expecting it to all be pretty much the same then you'll be OK.
