I've read a lot of the comments and a lot of people have similar opinions, different opinions, and overlapping opinions. The most critical piece of the puzzle is where the affectional component lies. This is what might cause the cognitive dissonance for some. The physical attraction and sexual attraction is there but the emotional connection is not. There is something about coveting or admiring someone that is not synchronized with being emotionally attracted to that person ... or that emotion coming along. I like what nerdbrain has to say. It's not denial. It's that labels may not work here because people, and especially men, are usually more sexual than they are emotional.
