Well... Do you put sauce on your bacon butty before or after cutting it, or do you just have no sauce at all. Maybe you just don't eat bacon. This is an open forum where everyone's ideas are welcomed though we do have a few rules: No flame wars No supremacist comments No going off topic Thank you.
I like bacon, plain, on bread so I,m a "no sauce". But 2 questions. 1) What kind of "sauce" are you talking about? 2) What possible difference could it make to cut the sandwich before or after applying the sauce?
1) Any sauce 2) Personally, I feel that one (putting it on before cutting) is more efficient than the other due to having to lift the bread less.
one time my mom made a blt and i dont like lettuce or raw tomato so it became a bacon sandwich, no sauce would not recommend ---------- Post added 13th Sep 2014 at 10:11 AM ---------- one time my mom made a blt and i dont like lettuce or raw tomato so it became a bacon sandwich, no sauce would not recommend
Being vegetarian this is the no bacon option... salad and tomatoes might be a good choice aren't there are a few other things to consider ? -how long do you let it stand before cutting? If the sauce has time to soak the sandwich cutting should be easier... if you don't let it stand it should be more of a mess due to pressure driving out the sauce while cutting... and if vegetarian instead of a sauce a simple vinaigrette might do... (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, possibly spices)
am I the only one who understands what a bacon butty-sandwich is bacon needs to be lightly done not crispy brown source cut in half not like a triangle ' thats just being awkward'.
