My local news posted about this on Facebook and most of the people complaining don't even like Starbucks, so they're mad over something they never planned on buying.

I noticed Trump is swooping these people up with his encouragement to boycott Starbucks. Dumb really sticks with dumb I guess

This whole thing was driven by a man who wanted his trolling to get attention. Very very few Christian leaders support this. The only person who actually grabbed hold of this idea on a national stage was Donald Trump. I have many many Christian acquaintances on social media, and none of them agreed with this Starbucks' criticism. Let's take pause before thinking a whole group got upset en masse because that just isn't true.

Yeah, I would agree. I feel like it's just been kinda deemed okay to stereotype Christians for one reason or another. I live in a very conservative area, with most people being Christian, and a major portion of the population is very nice.

Some haven't been the best towards me after coming out, but I am still who I am as far as faith. The story is what it is and really had no business being reported in the first place any more than a poster on the Yahoo comment section.

And yes, on the whole, we Michiganders are good people.

Oh, I know. I still love the fact that it was even issue to begin with.

I don't go to Starbucks, but I read this article recently on Buzzfeed about how Starbucks hasn't had Merry Christmas written on their cups for like the past three years.
