S.A.G.E. Test?

I remember doing this test before. Didn't really agree with the results though I guess it was a bit insightful simply answering the questions.

I will always take these kinds of online tests with a grain of salt though. Personally I think that at best, they can offer useful insight for you to explore further and can be a helpful starting point, at worst, they're based entirely off of assumptions or stereotypes and can confuse you even more.

 

I took it, and it was wwayyy off. it said I was a cross dresser, and I am not. But, as said before, take it with a grain of salt.

 

I think it's more like, lets see if this test provides a good answer kind of fun - and not at all a way to get actual answers. The test is likely useless at that, I took it just to see if it can guess me correctly. A year ago it said I was a crossdresser, too.

I get the impression that some people respond bitterly towards the test being here.

Its just a test people. Yes it is out dated, but it is still fun to take and see what it gives you. I think that that is the main purposes of it being posted in this thread anyway.
I doubt any of us are taking the answers it gives seriously.

 

Response to it is much more of a measure of who you are.

I understand that it is a silly test (and btw I don't really disagree with my results) but that "silly test" took like an hour to complete XD. I would like to see a test like this that is so in depth but with less stereotypical questions. However, it was in a way accurate anyway.

That's kind of interesting. I don't really know what androgynous is but I'll look it up. Possible FtM transsexual really describes what I'm going through right now though. And the fact that is says I have major conflicts about my gender identity is spot on

 

I got pretty correct result in that I'm androgynous and socially feminine and masculine features (I'm a guy) but what I don't get at all is the analysis that I'm MtF possible transsexual !!! Dafuq ?! I don't have a desire or urge or need for it !

I like taking personality tests and things. This one felt kind of dated and atereotype-y. Maybe it has to use stereotypes? I think it's kind of culturally out of touch, anyway. But, interesting. Also, Iwonder if the test calculated that Iam a woman who likes women as meaning I'm more likely to be trans, cuz that also makes me feel a little pissy.

Only two picture questions worked on my device, so I guessed on the rest of the picture questions..

I feel a little strange about being labeled trans, probably because during the quiz I self identified as female, and I feel a little insulted when I say I'm one thing and then this test says I'm something else. But, at the same time, it wasn't an option to identify as "a little bit gender queer sometimes" or to say, "I wish my body looked more androgynous so I could vary my presentation more easily based on how I feel that day." So, anyway... Yeah, I guess the test affirms that Idon't fit other people's molds.

Not gonna lie, I kinda hated this test after answering like 50 questions, they were all way too repetitive. (Where's the difference between between noticing a bell or a car?) Anyway, I went through with it and the answer is still pretty accurate.

If it's trying to ask how I feel about being mistaken for the other gender, it should have given me an option to say I don't like being called sir, and maybe that in just going to stop going to that place of business.

Also, did they ask about dysphoria at all? That seems kind of essential. If they had asked, do you like having boobs and a vagina, and I was like, 95% of the time very much yes, they probably would have labeled me cis?

They did call me *possibly* trans, so there's that.

 

As it has been said several time in the thread, this teat is very out dated. The questions asked do not match up with what is currently known about gender identity. A lot has changed since the test was first posted.

It has been made clear by most posters that the answers should not be taken as a tell all about your gender. Its just something to.do for fun and not to analyze as scientific fact.
