Share the album you're infatuated with so I can check it out. lol. I need new music!! This album isn't at the level of infatuation, but I am growing fond of the Weeknd's Trilogy. It's a different kind of style than what I'm used to, but he's got some catchy tunes if you're into him.
Do you like Passion Pit? Passion Pit - Take A Walk - YouTube ---------- Post added 23rd Nov 2012 at 10:26 PM ---------- Or Los leslie Los Leslie - Minds (Video Oficial) - YouTube
I've fallen in love with Agalloch's Ashes Against the Grain recently. I've heard them described as back metal, neo-folk, and post-rock, and I think those three genres together encapsulate every element of their style. You can listen to the whole Ashes Against the Grain album on YouTube: Agalloch - Ashes Against The Grain (Full Album with Bonus Track) - YouTube I'm also fond of their album The Mantle; while I enjoy listening to Ashes Against the Grain more, I think The Mantle is a better album. You can listen to that one in full on YouTube, too. Agalloch - The Mantle (Full Album) - YouTube
Agalloch, not bad. Lol. ---------- Post added 23rd Nov 2012 at 11:40 PM ---------- Passion Pit! I know that song, yes. I like them. Plus the first guy in the video can get it lol
I have two: Foxy Shazam and Macklemore. Macklemore is a rapper from Seattle. Foxy Shazam is basically a modern day Queen. I love them both.
Ed Sheeran. Amazing. Mumford and Sons. Equally amazing. AWOLNATION. I was just introduced to them by my brother, and wow, I'm into it. M83. The album is Hurry Up We're Dreaming. I freaking freakity freak freak love this band so much it hurts. Imagine Dragons. I realize most of this is played on the radio and isn't very indie but I love it all the same. I dunno how to find more interesting music. Although on the local college station I heard some good music that I've never heard of before. Brandon Flowers Brandi Carlile Ben Howard Those are the ones I remember.
Ok, I'll recommend some artists/bands instead: Renard / KistuneĀ² Dave Matthews Band Lindsey Stirling
I smell a lot of mediocre indie-pop/rock music in this thread so I'm gonna rectify that (some notable exceptions though): ^^^^^ This is one of the most understated, gorgeous tracks of the year. It only has 2,700 youtube views which really is criminal. --------------------------------------------------------------------- ^^^^^ BLISS. Rest in peace. <3
The album Hours by Funeral for a Friend. It's from 2005 but I didn't start listening to it until a few months ago. It's so good.
