Hey I'm new here. So I started questioning my sexuality mostly because last year I had a gay thought. So it was last year I was in the 11th grade and at that time I was friends with this very feminine boy named Tyler. We weren't like really close friends, more like associates, we just kinda talked in class. One day when I was in class I was sitting next to him and then out of no where I had this sexual thought of him pop into my head. It just came out of no where, and it was unusual because I don't think I've ever had an actual gay thought just pop into my head like that before. I didn't get aroused from it though, I just thought about it. So does that make me gay?
No, that doesn't make you gay. Do you think about girls? When you masturbate without porn, do you think about girls or guys? By the time you are 16-17, most people will have generally figured out if they have attraction to a particular gender. An occasional stray thought about the same gender has little meaning. If you begin to more consistently think about guys, then it's something to consider. I hope this helps.
I don't know you, and only know about you what you have written here. It's impossible to tell you your sexuality from this little information and not knowing you. However, I don't see anything in what you have written to indicate that you are gay. Don't worry about occasional thoughts - it's perfectly normal and natural. At your young age, sexual thoughts can come from anywhere.
