Since everyone's using my name, I guess I'll just have to use a new one...perhaps, erm...hmm now I'm paranoid that everyone might steal this one too. Ah whatever, it would make for another great thread. Think I'll go with Rachel (I don't know why I like names with R so much)

    Sorry to bump this, but....

I don't feel that Sofiya Renee fits me. It's a beautiful name but I don't think it's me if that makes any sense.

Right now I'm looking for some suggestions before I post the name that I'm thinking about now. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Hmmm, is it the whole name? Or just one or the other you need a new one for?

Having asked that, I'm horrible with names. Took me maybe ten years or so to come up with the one I chose (and I still haven't picked a middle name). :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Although I think Gates liked Rose. :rolle:

Actually, maybe I can be a little helpful by asking if there are any female names that mean something special for you? Perhaps a female from your life whom has impacted yours positively, a role model of some kind, or maybe even a crush?

Audrey came from Audrey Landers, the actress/model I had a huge crush on as a kid (dating myself).

This movie scarred me for life as a kid adult. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

The whole name. I'll save Sofiya Renee for my future daughter

I've been trying to think of any important names in my life and thus far haven't come up with anything....

^ looks like my sister. I cannot describe how scarred I was by that movie. And then to make it worse, my only girlfriend's name was Rose... :rolle:

Which is why you're trying to inflict it on me? Now I know where I stand in the harem. It's because I'm the oldest, isn't it? :tears:

    ---

OK, grabbing that steering wheel again, let's take a different tack. What would you say you don't like about Sofiya Renee? Is it too exotic? Too mundane? Too many syllables? Too few? Clashes with your last name? We need to know a few things about your tastes/preferences if we're going to come up with something pleasing.

I just don't feel that it's fitting for me. Like I said, I think it's beautiful but it's more for my daughter, not for me. I'll know it when I hear it I know that much. I want something different, not crazy different but nothing like a name heard everyday.

At one point yesterday I was thinking Kayla Rae. That's the closest I've come to something that I feel fits for me. I'll know it when I hear it and I hate being this picky, but it's something that I guess I kinda have to be picky about....

My last name consists of one single syllable...and my Chinese name (which serves as a middle name ) makes it sound like a certain fruity gelatinous snack.
