Yes! But honestly, I don't think anyone will actually adopt mice from a shelter which means I can keep raising them forever! Their names are David, Eli and Ivan. I didn't name them XD

Thanks. She was remarkable. Unknown breeding but had a wonderful personality (When she chose so, lol). She used to hang out on the roof during the day, especially during Winter months, and then when she came indoors, she'd "call" for us, and it sounded as though she called "ma". She'd keep this up till someone answered her. So sweet  She was only 9 years old, so still relatively young. She was just a few months younger than our Boerboel. Miss her dearly but she's pain-free now :frowning2:

    That is sweet.

I had to look up Boerboel, it seems we call it South African Mastiff here.

    Thanks

She was quite feisty sometimes, especially if she wants something and you refuse to give it to her. She was very particular about what food she will eat too. She didn't like the "cheap" foods, and she got spoiled by getting wet cat food too as a treat/something extra. And even with that, she only ate one brand of food. What a diva! Lol.

We've been talking about getting another cat, but this time we're getting one from a reputable breeder. We're looking at getting a calico. Google it if you're not sure what it means. It's not necessarily a breed, it's a colour. But we're not looking for long-haired cats so might need to do more research about the different breed calicoes. The one we were eyeing was an American curl, they're so cute, but she was a bit above our price-range.

If I had a say in the matter, I'd rather want to adopt one from the SPCA but will have to speak to my family about that. The one we had, was a pet-shop cat. I remember the day we bought her. My parents had no clue. They thought we were "borrowing" the cat from the pet store, whilst we actually bought her (They wouldn't let you take their pets outside, now would they?) Lol.

Yeah, I don't know what they were thinking, lol. And we weren't little kids anymore back then either. I think I was around 19 then. I don't know, I'm bad at Maths, lol.

Very cute. We used to think that colour's called tortoiseshell but turns out it's calico. Would love to have a cat again, no matter what colour or breed
