I used this drug to overdose a long time ago I won't go into details about how many I took or what happened because I don't want you doing the same. Well if he was a pharmacist on the show, he would have access to many drugs that contain APAP in them, not just necessarily ODing on Tylenol. The readily availability of drugs that contain enough APAP in a handful of tablets is increased with someone working in a pharmacy. Also, if he was a chronic abuser, it would not take as much.

 

I hope you are just curious after watching Desperate housewives ... I saw that episode! You did give me and everyone else here a bit of a fright.

My sister is a nurse and she explained the long and painfull death which becomes inevitable if the doctors can't flush out enough of the paracetemol in time as you liver slowly collapses... certainly made me think twice!

In that episode George slipped into a deep sleep and died, nothing to do with the reality of a paracetemol OD. Whatever... Don't do it, don't even think about it

Btw - paracetamol is one of the worse and most painful ways to kill urself. Not that i've tried but aparrently its a slow agonising death.
