I knew I recognised her! I have to admit I love that she's so bad ass in it.

 

I've watched it online through 1channel. That site is like a god-send

...how the hell did I not recognize Red as Captain Janeway?

Sure, I don't watch Star Trek, but my mom watched it enough I know the characters from that series.

 

I've only seen it on the Netflix Queue, but now I'm interested.

I've been using 1channel ever since it was "LetMeWatchThis.com". I always used to watch movies on there. If you can't get Netflix, use this site. Seriously.

 

Pretty awesome show. Love the diverse cast and the depth of the series overall. The ending... lawd, when does the next season come out?!

Omg, what a moment that was. Didn't know whether to weep or melt or explode 'cause the emotions... really seeing her as a person and not just some scary-crazy character... ugh.

 

I LOVE this show! I was about to binge watch all the episodes in a few days as well, but through some mighty willpower, I paced myself to "prolong" the show by only watching 2 episodes a night haha. I was on such a withdrawal when it ended that I'm now watching it all over again a second time! It's just as enjoyable, funny, and exciting as the first go around! I can't wait for Season 2.

Agreed on all points. I love Alex & Piper as well! I haven't heard "Vauseman" before...I've been reading everywhere that it's "Pipex"

I just started watching it, and it's so good! My favorite characters are Daya (especially her anime drawings), Sophia, Taystee, Red, and Claudette.

 

Finished it yesterday.

LOVED it. The character development and complexity and back stories is such a great combo!!

I so agree "Crazy eyes" is hilarious gotta love her. I binge watched all the episodes and now I'm lost. I miss piper and Alex.....I need more 'orange is the new black' soon.

The actress they got for Suzanne was like, perfect.

 

Love this series and can't wait for season 2! Amazingly written, both funny, and touching, and it was awesome to be able to watch them back to back.

And OMG Laura Prepon is so hot!!!! Had to be said again

 

I normally hate watching TV, I always get bored, distracted, confused, annoyed...

but I watched this whole series in one sitting.

And Natasha Lyonne as Nichols... god daaamn she's so fuckin sexy. Her voice, her adorable face, her personality, everything about her... I'm just pissed that she's not real and isn't my girlfriend. I can feel an obsession developing.

But Piper annoys me for some reason, idk. Everyone else is just great, I couldn't pick a favorite. Season 2 can't come soon enough.

 

I think it's really awesome that a main character is a transgender woman of color who is actually played by a transgender woman of color - and she's a wonderful and fully developed character.

 

I just started watching OITNB last night, and was so pleasantly surprised. I love it! It's so funny and I love the characters. I can't help but hope Piper and Alex get back together, even though it's probably not a good idea. Laura Prepon is also extremely attractive, and such a great actress. The show is great and I'm obsessed with the theme song.

 

My sister was confused by it though.

Her storyline in particular was very hard to tell flashbacks from reality, because she was a police officer, and they're in a prison.

Led to my sister being confused how she could be a man one moment, then suddenly she's in her beauty salon as a woman. The transition for her story needed a little more separation.

It clicked what was happening for my sister once they transitioned away from her old job as a police officer though.
