New Years Resolutions, Anyone?

Such an amazing goal. I would like to make this my new years resolution as well.


And get my ass to the gym.

 

OMG thanks for doing this! I think this is a great idea!! I have a ton of NYR goals.
-become a certified fitness trainer
-do pole dancing at least once a month, I used to do it and I love it. I just don't have time for it anymore.
-workout 3-6x a week
-finish the list of books I still need to read
-get my half sleeve tattoo
-eat healthier- not as many cookies or as much ice cream, etc.
-pay off the rest of my court fees
I think that's it. I don't remember the rest

 

Star college. Please, let me start college already.

 

-I would like to beat my 2016 record of reading 60 books and go for 75. I read less when I'm busy with academic work, that's a fact, but I think it could be done.

 

I did almost TOO well on my last year's resolution to chill out about grades, so I guess my resolution for this coming year would be to find a good balance of work and chill before high school starts.

 

To realize I deserve so much better than to be someone's punching bag. I try so hard to do what's right, to make people happy, and in return, I always get stepped on.

 

Not to die...and to make at least two movies.

Simple, to spend more time doing things I love, for no other reason than wanting to do them! (!)

 

Resolutions have a bad reputation with me. The closest I have is wanting to write more and be more open to people I care about. Being on this site is actually a part of that opening up bit.

 

-> Write more
-> Get into the Bachelor of Arts program
-> Stop smoking (I just bought a vape, hopefully it works)

 

That's a rough one but I wish you the best. I tried to go cold turkey and wound up buying a vape so I could smoke in secret at work. My S/O at the time caught me and for some reason that kicked my tail into gear and I was able to stop from there. I still get cravings but it's gotten easier. Best of luck.

to get back to the gym and to stop smoking...after I got laid off, the gym membership was one of the first things to go...shoulda been the cigs, they probably cost me more lol, got a good job now so I can afford the gym again and something to help stop smoking, maybe start vaping or something

 

Good for you! A little advice, don't hit it like a cigarette; take it in slowly. Some people give up on the vape because they say it burns their throat when they inhale. But I've heard that it only burns because they inhale it too quickly. I don't smoke. This is just what I've heard. Good luck!

My year resolution. Hmmp.
1. Fitness goal
2. Higher academic standing in my high school
3. Do more productive routines like reading essential books
4. Come out to my friends
5. TALK TO THE GUY I LIKE!!!
6. Dont hold back about the guy i like
7. Dont be afraid to show my true self.
8. Gay guy !!!

 

You can do it!! I quit cold turkey about 3/4 weeks ago. It SUCKS but it's totally possible. I chew on toothpicks if I crave a cigarette, it helps more than anything else for me. GOOD LUCK!

 

Of course my plan would be total world domination starting with...

I mean, not breaking any more cheap computers with high-power software! :lol:

And maybe going up a bra size but I'm more probable to turn into a Xenomorph in all honesty.

 

My resolutions for this coming year are to find a counselor and to start attending LGBT events in my city to start making new connections and friendships. That's what I'm shooting for!
