In the state of Nevada Tick Segerbloom is introducing SJR13. Which would repeal the marriage amendment that was passed back in 2002. This will NOT legalize marriage equality in the state of Nevada. This would need to passed this year or 2014. It would have to passed again in 2015 or 2016. To repeal an amendment you need to pass it twice. Lawmakers could pass marriage equality in 2017 if they would like to. A total of 9 of 11 Senate Democrats favor the repeal. It takes 11 votes to pass it out of the Senate.
