I have been in off and on relationships online for the past few years, but I recently realized why they were not working. My love language is very physical. I love giving hugs and kisses and cuddling and all of that, but there are no gay people (that I know of) in the area to build a relationship with. How can I find people to talk to and possibly date in my area?
Does your school have a GSA? If you live in a rural area it might be difficult until you are able to move away.
It's hard... I grew up in a rural area. I had only 2 boyfriends that were gay/bi in my area in an 25 year span, at least that were open about it. I'm 33 and I need to get the hell out of here or at least start looking for dates outside of here. I'm not getting any younger... Location is a big deal when it comes to finding love in the LGBT+ community, unfortunately but don't give up hope. Work towards your dreams and try to get out into the world, if you can.
It does, but the only people that ever show up are bi or lesbian girls, and straight allies. Even then only 4 or 5 people including me show up.
