Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out here.
I live in the UK, and my mum just applied online for my new passport. Unfortunately I couldn't work up the courage to tell her about wanting to change my name, and she has already payed the £75 fee.
These passports last 10 years, and I really want to change my name now. That would cost me another £75 plus about £15 for a deed poll. My mum won't want to pay for a new passport when it should last 10 years.
Is there any way I can edit the application? I'm really worried about this because your passport needs to have your legal name on it, which will soon change.
