Eury wandered over and gripped the boys arm. "You can help us save the dimensions, or we could just kill you and take your blood that way. We don't want to hurt you, Cato, but we also don't want our friends to die when hell fully collides with heaven and demons kill them all."
Ambriel rolled her eyes. "And I thought demigods were supposed to protect the earth."
Mimi smiled. "The real gods are useless, why would demigods be any better?"

Cato glared at Mimi "fine I'll help"

 

"Aww" Mimi pushed her sisters aside, throwing an arm around his shoulders and messing up his hair, "I knew you'd come around. Hold out your arm for me, and count to three, okay?"

Eury readied the vial, while Stheno sterilised her knife in the flame of a candle Allistair had brought in from the back.

 

"f-fine" he said sounding afraid after all using a knife to get blood many things could go wrong she might hit an artery (wink wink nudge nudge) this did not seem like a good idea at all

 

(Hint taken, but bear in mind, she's a healer )
Stheno jammed the knife into his arm unceremoniously, Eury catching as much blood as she could in the tiny vial. She snapped on the cap and nodded, signifying that Stheno should stop.
She removed the knife, but blood poured from his arm at an alarming rate.
Medusa put a hand to her face. "Stheno, you didn't..."

"Hey! No depth perception, remember?"

 

"what the fuck did you do!" He yelled before passing out from shock at the blood pouring out of his arm

 

Medusa's arm around his shoulders was enough to hold him up so he didn't cave his head in on the bar.
"Oops." Stheno giggled.
Ambriel sighed. "Are you gonna help him, or am I?"

Stheno rolled her eyes and knelt down to where Mimi had gently set the Demigod on the floor. She placed her hand over the wound, the crude incision turning to stone and beginning to heal.

Shit, this isn't going to be enough. She scanned the room, to see that everyone was staring. This was going to be difficult. Sorry, kiddo. Guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do, right? She faked a yawn, pulling her blood covered hand up to her face to cover her mouth, and catching a few drops of blood on her tongue.
The healing sped up, and finally stitched itself back together neatly, leaving not so much as a scratch.

"He's not waking up." Mimi noted. "Hey, you didn't kill him did you?"
"He passed out from shock and bloodloss. He's a demigod, I doubt he'd be so easy to kill."
Eury shook her head. "You'd be surprised. Back in my day, I must have killed more than - sorry, never mind. We should get him to the back room."
Mimi sighed theatrically. "My back room? The back room filled with statues? You'll scare the hell out of him, let's do it!"

And so, they set him down on a bed in the statue room. It was more of a storeroom, really, with a door leading out to the space behind the bar. Eury left it open so she could keep an eye on him while she was serving.

Meanwhile, she had bigger problems. Medusa had been oddly quiet today. Since Henry's prediction, she had not killed anyone, or gave a dramatic speech to the patrons, or anything Medusa liked to do. It was worrying, to be honest.

 

Sati starts to wake up slowly looking down at the cut on his arm before seeing all the statues and jumping back lletting out a small "oh" of suprise rather than fear

Meanwhile, across the boundaries of space and time, jimmies finally unrustled, Earz emerges from his 10 year imprisonment in his own rustled jimmies. A hollow ring is head as a drop of water gently collides with the otherwordly soil, and Earz turns his head...
"I have a meeting with Harambe."

(EC decided to go all crazy on me the other day, so I couldn't post a reply.)

The smell of blood filling their nostrils piqued Blair's interest. It wasn't lowly demon blood, which stank of compost, if not worse. It was something else. It was nearly...alive with magic. It smelt delicious, if not slightly familiar...

Ah, right. It smelt of the half-child's blood.

They walked back into the tavern, catching sight of Sltheno pushing open a door of what seemed to be a storeroom of statues. Suppose they can't just kill the statues, really, Blair mused, dropping down at the bar once more. Nico did the same a few seats away.

Turning to Sltheno, who'd just returned, they glanced back at the back room. It seemed interesting. "What else are we missing, now?"

 

Stheno's eyes flickered with something alien to her usual childish demeanour. "I stabbed Cato." She smiled, then realised how that sounded. "We needed his blood for the spell, so I used my dagger to get it, and then he passed out."
Mimi nodded, pushing past them on her way upstairs. "He'll be fine. I'd say 'don't worry', but I already know you won't."

Eury watched her head upstairs, concern furrowing her brow.

 

Cato starts to walk out of the room then he sees beleth and jumps back to hide behind the door
