my mom wants me to go to a fancy school but I don't want to go just yet

    Fear only matters as much as you let it. Easier said then done, but true nonetheless. Do not let fear control your life, because a life controlled by fear isn't a life at all. You have to be stronger than that, especially being in the situation you're in now. You can do it. Just don't give up and keep fighting. It will be worth it in the end. I think it's obvious that none of this is going to be peaceful, so don't beat around the bush. It may be extremely hard, but you have to stand up and fight this. It's the only way you'll win.

    I will try my best . I was thinking of seeing a therapist to tell them about this but I hadn't found a good one yet you know do think that will help ?

    Good luck. If you ever need help or support, I and various other members of EC will be here to give advice, listen, and give ideas to help you. You can do it, just don't give up and keep fighting. Battles aren't always easy, but the ability to win them is never impossible.

    It might help, but it all depends on the therapist. They may be able to help you come up with solutions and offer up important resources as well.

    You don't need to apologize for your grammar.
    A big reason why I'm a perfectionist when it comes to grammar is because I'm absolutely HORRIBLE with math.
    I've had to teach myself everything since 5th grade. As a result, I see everyone I meet as more intelligent than me and I'm very insecure.

    I wish I could give you advice on this situation. I'm in a similar one, so I have no idea what you should do. :frowning2:

    If you "go to a fancy college" wouldnt you be free to be open and out and unopposed living on campus?

    Are they saying go to a full time boarding college? Run with it I say.
