Download google's chrome browser. It has an incognito feature that allows you to browse without leaving a trace.

 

The incognito window feature that comes with Google Chrome is an excellent idea, Pendrin hit the nail on the head as I was going to post and say the same thing.

I'm sorry you have to deal with this, I think a good idea might also be to try and talk to your father about how this is making you feel.

I'm really sorry to hear that your dad is such a jerk. Ugh, it's not like cutting you off from all things gay will magically turn you straight. I mean God, it's a support site. :\ Maybe you should talk with him.

 

One possibility is that he only blocked the domain emptyclosets.com . Assuming he hasn't also blocked the IP address you could just type it into your browser window. As of my posting the IP was 66.115.186.108.

It seems like you've figured out a solution for now but it's worth keeping this alternative in mind too.

 

Just be aware, that by bypassing his block you have escalated things a bit. He'll be pissed if he finds out, so be careful.

Good job that you've found a way round this but please please be careful as if your dad is intentionally doing this then he's already quite determined so if he finds out then he may be quite mad and that obviously wont be good for you.

 

This might be naive, but isn't convincing him and talking to him about why he blocked it a better long term solution? Explaining what EC is about and everything. Can you mom help with this?

i guess its for safety reasons but still i mean like its a way to talk to people that are like you and stuff, maybe you should try to reason with your dad and if that doesn't work then idk sorry i didn't even tell my family about me lol

 

Apple's Safari has a private browsing feature as well

so you can use the ip trick and then he wont know
