According to the site the file is uploading but the image never changes from the blue default head. What am I doing wrong?
What is the file size of the av you're trying to upload? Or the dimensions? It might be too large of a file, or it might just be the wrong file type.
All pictures and images for avatars and member profiles need to be checked by a moderator, so if you can wait a short while we'll take a look at it (and providing there are no issues) we'll approve it for your avatar. If there are any issues, we'll let you know.

Nope! Feel free to change it if you want. Of course, we expect users to be reasonable: It consumes a bit of staff time to check avatars and approve them. If people start to change their avatars several times a day, that would be an issue. But if you want to change your avatar every now and then, don't worry about it.
