Been a while since I have posted here. I am popping in just to give and update which I hope will provide some encouragement and insight for others. I have hit the year mark since my divorce. I had my first real date in November, and he was nice but we didn’t click in “that” way. Since that time though I am developing a relationship that seems to have a lot of promise.. It’s be 4 years since I started coming out and I have new friends made that say things like “how did people ever think that you were straight?” , lol. I’m letting myself be free. I have lost 60 lbs. and my diabetes is better controlled than ever. I may never meet my Prince Charming, but never underestimate the value in getting to be yourself.
