Morning or night person?

  1. I'm a night person. I'm not opposed to the sun, i just feel i am more productive and i enjoy staying up all night on occasion.

I would LIKE to be a morning person, but insomnia and plan ol' crappy sleeping patterns cause me to only get to sleep around 4am these days.. XD

I'm at my best in the morning I think.

Actually neither. I'm at my best from about 11am to 3pm. I'm not good at waking up, but I also start to fade well before midnight.

Night person, definitely. I am pretty much useless until around 1 PM or so. I seem to work best from maybe 5 or 6 to midnight. I never go to bed before midnight since I end up laying awake in bed for another hour or two before I fall asleep anyways.

Definitely a night person. If I have to wake up before noon, I really consider it a bad day.

It depends on how screwed up my circadian rhythm is. Normally I'm a night person.

I am a bit of a combination, depending on the mood, but most of the time I am asleep at 1AM and awake at 6AM.

Clearly, at 1:29 am...I'm a night person...I'll probably (knowing me and my regular sleep habits) be asleep by 4 am

In high school and prior, I was a morning person, which was good since for high school I had to be up around 5:45am to get there in time. Of course, I think I got on average about 6 hours of sleep a night during high school.

Naturally, I'm a morning person--I don't usually have any trouble getting up, it doesn't take me much to become fully alert (I don't have to drink coffee, just need a shower) and it's hard for me to sleep late. However, as a university student and then adult (and now university student again) I find that most of adult life (if you're an adult without children) happens at night (i.e. socializing, whether it be simply having dinner/seeing a show or partying) and when I get home, I need at least an hour to unwind so I usually don't get to bed before 1am, and consequently get up around 8am.

It's gotten worse since I've moved to Toronto (from Vancouver) because I've basically kept "Vancouver time"--I go to bed at 3 or 4am local time (which would only be 12 or 1am home time) and get up at 10 or 11am. The problem is that because I'm naturally a morning person, I don't work at 100% in the evening but I've wasted a good part of my productive time sleeping late.

Both. I stay up 'til two and get up at six. It's just around noon that I don't do so well.

If I follow my natural inclination, I go to sleep somewhere between 2 and 3 AM and wake up at 10, so I guess that counts as a night person.

However, I can get real work done more easily between 6am and noon, so if I really need to do something, I'm a morning person.

In the week, I fall into an unhealthy rythm where I'm awake at 6AM, but only go to sleep at 2AM. I'm lucky I don't require all that much sleep...

I used to be a morning person, always up by 7 no matter what time I went to bed, however in the past month or so I've been working until like 12:30-1 and so don't go to bed until 3 so I'm lucky to be up before 10, so I'm now much more of a night person.
