Is anyone going to tell her that Biblical law also says mixed fabric clothing and gold jewelry aren't allowed or is everyone cool with letting her look stupid?

Eh, I'm not going to congratulate her too much. Hooray, she's honest in her bigotry.

    Still a bigot.

To her it is though, and to some Americans it is. We would be saying the same thing if it was somebody that quit because they could not issue SSM licenses.

I feel sorry that she feels the need to quit her job over something that I don't even believe is a biblical sin. This ruling is gonna open a lot of eyes hopefully to different interpretations of the bible and as the pro gay rights christen movement gets stronger which it is more people will become accepting and understanding of things like this. Instead of ridiculing her i pray for her and hope she realizes the truth before its too late.

I'm glad she just quit without much drama. Saves my eyes and ears from controversy on TV.

And this, children, is why we have separation of church and state.

I wouldn't, because believing in equality based on reason and empathy is not analogous to holding a bigoted opinion based on blind faith alone.

It never ceases to amaze me that some Christians claim to take the Bible as their final authority.

While I do not agree with her interpretation of the Bible, I do respect her for stepping down instead of refusing to do her job as some clerks are.

Overall, I agree to disagree with her. I think her views are toxic and hypocritical (in that I doubt she cared too much about issuing marriage licenses to divorced individuals), but they are her views and not mine. At least those views have walked out the door of their own volition. So long, sucker :smilewave
