I identify as female. I like dressing up in makeup and pretty outfits. But something I've always kept to myself is my masculine side. I like wearing more stereotypical masculine clothes and I like being able to embody that kind of energy. But I'm 100% on doing it anywhere but when I'm alone because it makes me feel like maybe it's just my personality disorder acting up. Or maybe it's because I haven't explored my more dominate side. I feel like it's hard to express when your around people who have only ever seen you as just girly

I'm a firm believer in the idea that gender is a spectrum. We may identify as, say, masculine but have a strong feminine side or vice versa. This doesn't mean to say that you're necessarily trans or NB, just that you're a well-balanced person - I'd say it's actually very healthy and normal!

Aw seriously that was really well put I really appreciate that. I hope to be in a better environment soon so I can explore it freely without feeling worried about it

I second what chicodeoro said. I dress very masculine and love the energy but I definitely have a feminine side. I feel we all have feminine and masculine energy and we all show them in different ways.
