To any who respond to this.....I'd like to find something to help cover the bags under my eyes. I've never used any kind of makeup except when I was performing on stage and then someone else did the makeup. Any suggestions on what to use and how to do it? .....David
I don't wear any makeup but my mom uses it to cover bags under the eyes like that. I think it's a combination of eye cream and concealer. Stuff like this: https://www.lorealparisusa.com/prod...eatment.aspx?shade=triple-power-eye-treatment https://www.lorealparisusa.com/prod...le-multi-use-concealer.aspx?shade=medium-w5-6
Lakme 9 to 5 concealers are great and long lasting. They are a drugstore brand, so affordable. Test it your elbow area, the skin is thinner there and also darker, so you find a shade closer to yours. At least, that’s what I do. A cotton pad soaked in coffee ( the coffee decoction) helps with the bags. Place it over your eyes for ten to fifteen mins and wash with cold water. And while going to bed, sleep with cotton pad soaked in rose water. It helps with the puffiness.
They say you should match your lipstick shade to the color of your nipples! It’ll help you not look like a clown probably.
So put it on lipstick (any) but because I move my lips to much it gets everywhere. Sorry but that's a little weird.
I love makeup! I use a variety of brands based on colors/prices that I want. But I’ve found that ELF seems to have a pretty consistent standard as I have tried their pallets, highlighter, and lip tints. Otherwise I would say explode the colors that work for you and find a brand that seemed to cater to your skin type/cover preferences. Good luck on your search and feel free to ask for any other applying tips/what you need to buy. Sorry but I love giving makeup advice. ☺️
