Mabuhay! [Greetings!]

My name is Sam and I am a 30 year-old gay guy from Manila, Philippines.

I was actually looking for a forum that is solely for the LGBT community where I can feel safe and welcomed by all...and found this! Okay, to be honest, I am not sure if I am welcomed here because I don't know anyone and other members might not be interested in talking to me.

But nevertheless, I would still like to tell you a some things about me just to properly introduce myself to you guys.

I am a 30 year-old skinny gay guy. Born and raised here in Manila, Philippines. And living in a developing country, I have a few insights on how society is treating the LGBT community here. I am also an introvert. I do freelance work as a graphic designer and a fashion/portrait photographe so I mainly do my work here at home and rarely go out. My friends are mostly straight so its somewhat challenging for me to talk about my issues with them. I have a couple of gay friends [whom I love dearly] but sometimes we don't see things eye to eye.
I have never been in a relationship, mostly by choice. And most of the guys that I like are not interested. Haha. I go out on dates every now and then but things don't usually work out after a while.

I am online most of the time [because of my work] and it would be nice to connect with people the world over who is like me. It would be awesome to share experiences and opinions with each and everyone in this forum and hopefully, learn some things about love and life along the way.

I would be super happy if one or two people would reply to this thread. I know this site is pretty busy and there are far more important threads that need to be replied to, so I would understand if I don't get a response. Regardless, I am deeply excited to be part of this online community and looking forward to being active here for a long time.
