Some people had a great idea in recording their coming out experiences to loved ones and posted them onto youtube. There are LOTS on there that you can check out and get inspired and see actual real time closet door openers and see it is not bad to come out. This is the first one I watched and I enjoyed it. Coming out to my sister live on camera! - YouTube
Yeah, I watched a ton of coming out live videos prior to coming out to my best friend. I saw that one as well. I love that video - it's so sweet. Plus, the guy is super hot. :icon_redf :icon_redf
This had me in tears. The only other thing I've watched that's made me cry is Marley and Me. A very powerful video that hit me very hard
I've seen that before, very touching. His sister is just a beautiful person, inside and out. I'm jealous!
It was really easy to relate to this and watch it with enthusiasm...I was just like "He's gonna say it isn't he...ohgodohgod, please sister of this guy don't spit on him or anything" and then he said it and they were like (*hug*) and I was like Daww that's nice. :icon_bigg:eusa_clap
You can really feel the emotion in this video (and others). Goes from heart pounding nervousness to goosebumps to relief. Just like the real thing... I mean it is the real thing... but you go through it with them. Thanks for sharing this. It's a great resource for people who are thinking about coming out. I wish youtube was around when I was coming out.
YouTube videos on coming out are a great way to not feel so alone especially for those of us who are in the closet and need to hear how other people's experiences were. I think each one is unique and inspiring and pushes you a little closer out that closet door. My best advice on coming out is to build up your support network. Meet other gay people - even if it's just one person, it will make a world of difference in making you feel more comfortable in your own skin. As far as coming out videos go, I highly recommend this one. It is one of the most heartfelt videos I have come across. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ae_URR3x3U
