LGBT vs LGBTQ

    If the acrynom is too long, I think it can be harder to stick in peoples minds, keeping it at LBGT is catchier and generally better for raising awareness, although the longer version should exist for people under that umbrella.

    On my Tumblr I use LGBTQIAPD+ or GSRM (gender, sexual, and romantic minorites). I personally don't mind all the letters if I'm typing, but I use LGBT irl because most people would be confused if I used the big acronym.

    It's just quicker to leave it off. Our acrynym is pretty long and some people just don't want to have to remember the whole thing.
    Usually I say "queer", or if I want to sound all ~fancy and educated~ or whatever I'll say "LGBTQIA" or "LGBTQIA+".

    I usually say LGBTQ or LGBTQ+, unless I'm around people who know what GSM stands for. I try to more inclusive in my terminology.
