i like that song !

 

for those of you that like punk id really recommend searching up "queercore" or "queer punk" on spotify because it's a wide genre of lgbt music! i love lgbt punk so much

i will also recommend one of my favourite bands- dream nails- not all of their songs are about being queer, but a lot of feminist ones. 'kiss my fist' and 'jillian' are explicitly queer

I'm partial to pretty much that entire album, honestly. "X" was the song that got me into her music, though, so it holds a special place for me.

 

Never heard of queer punk

 

I have so many favourite LGBTQ+ artists such as Hayley Kiyoko, FLETCHER, girl in red, King Princess and Lauren Sanderson- obviously these songs by them are about lesbian love/attraction but they are brilliant and could be for any woman that likes other women.

I also have other artists that are LGBTQ+ and have a few songs l like such as: Gia Woods, Sir babygirl, girli, Halsey, Holly Miranda, Clairo, dodie, Beatrice Eli, Emily Burns, MAY-A, L Devine, saturn 17, Kehlani and i’m sure there are others but I can’t remember.

If you are a woman who likes women definitely give these artists a listen- or even if you don’t like women in that way or are a person who doesn’t like women in that way and are just curious about the music or questioning definitely give it a go. Literally anybody!!

 

Not specifically LGBT, but Halsey is bi, so i guess it counts
