What are the factors that make me gay? I am the eldest, though my mum did have a lose one child, a son. So does it work the same for gay woman as it does for gay men?

 

haha nope! on my right hand my index and fourth fingers look pretty even, but on my left hand my index is clearly longer.

*edit* maybe not. haha my hands and fingers are seriously crooked, maybe my fingers are just indeterminable.

 

There's a huge difference between my index and ring finger! Haha.

And to answer your questions, yes, the finger trick applies to men too. Straight men have lesbian hands, and gay men have straight woman hands. Well, not always, but they have more of a tendency towards that.

And the birth order theory has nothing to do with female children at all. The woman's body sees a son as foreign to her body, and so it attempts to turn it female by shooting estrogen at it. The more sons the woman has, the better her body gets at doing that, the more feminine her sons are, the gayer they end up. See?

 

I don't... Although, seeing as the hell storm that is puberty is not really up to the " let's make Calico's hands bigger!" stage, that may change.

Both my ring fingers are quite a lot longer than my index fingers! So apparently i was exposed to a lot of testosterone, this explains so much

Nope, can't say I do! One hand could be very slightly but nothing really noticeable, but I do have stupidly small hands Still have to glove shop in the kids section! haha And my left hand my index finger is waaaay shorter haha Perhaps I'm meant to be really straight? hahaha fail

 

I heard this for the first time a long time ago, when I was still a kid. I have slightly "lesbian" fingers...and it used to make me worry that I was gay.....oops At least I don't have to worry any more! I

t would be really interesting to see studies where scientists actually measured hormone levels in the mothers' wombs and then tracked the babies to adulthood to see if hormone levels really did influence sexuality.

 

My hands are different. Does that mean I'm bi?

 

My right hand is gayer than my left, lol. 75% lesbian? Seems about right...
Realized I look at my fingers the "wrong" way too.
In the closet my hands go as well now... haha.
