I met a woman at a networking event a couple of weeks ago and she asked me out last week. We agreed to meet this Saturday but I haven't heard from her since last Thursday after I asked about the time. Could it be because I agreed to meet her friend also separately? (Her friend also asked me out I guess, but I'm not romantically interested in her friend, but thought that the friend would be cool to get to know because of her career trajectory.) If so, how to remedy this? Did I just commit a serious faux pas? In case relevant, woman who asked me out is 55 years old and has been out since her 20s. I'm 47 year old and just came out last year. Also, I'm not sure if the 55 year old woman knows that I agreed to meet her friend. Any thoughts appreciated!
