    Sometimes it just takes time and training for our loved ones to adjust.
    Why not? It's some solution. Not a bad one.

    Oh it definitely is! I’m super happy. :slight_smile: She’s the one thing that’s right in my life right now. But gee whiz I wish I knew from day to day what to call myself even. I really struggle with the idea of telling my parents when I don’t know what label to give them. Because I have days where I genuinely feel bi, and that feel authentic and right, but then we have days like today where I really just feel like a lesbian. It just can be so unpredictable. The only thing I know is I am not attracted to guys in real life. That if one wanted to date me hypothetically I’d say no and turn him down. Whether I just don’t want that kind of relationship or I’m gay I'm not sure.

    It’s sounds as if you are still coming to terms with being gay. Not being attracted to guys seems like to pretty significant indication. Most of us needed some time to adjust to the idea of our same next attraction. Because of our societal bias towards heterosexuals it becomes a struggle to break through that programming and embrace our true gay sexuality. You seem well on your way towards becoming the lesbian you are. Keep moving forward it is well worth embracing the real you.

    Thank you. I honestly just don’t know most days. I think the thing is, I can fantasize about guys and can find them sexually attractive but I just don’t want to date them. I only want to date women. So I don’t know what that makes me. Just because I’m capable of being attracted to both doesn’t mean I actually want that ykwim?
