Just came out to myself!

Coming to think about it, the signs were there when I was Matt's age - but I just didn't want to see it, growing up in a very conservative family.

I then proceeded to suppress my feelings for 20 years, and am just now coming to terms with who I really am. It's quite liberating actually.

I congratulate someone as young as Matt for finding themselves so early in life, and not living with the pain that I have had for the last 20 years.
