Is mostly straight a thing?

As a 0 or 6 person you would be exclusively 100% straight or gay. Or it might be a girl who falls in love one with woman but still only likes men and not other women besides this one girl. These people are still for the most part heterosexual, and not bisexual. They just aren't as rigid as kinsey 0 heterosexuals are.

And finally, as someone anywhere from 2-4, you would be bisexual with different degrees of preferences. A 3 would be an obvious "no preference, I'm satisfied with anyone", while a 2 or 4 has a preference for the opposite or same sex respectively. For example, A kinsey 2 woman could be romantically and sexually satisfied in a monogamous relationship with her girlfriend, and women in general, but she's more likely to think men are attractive overall.

Or you could say that in regards to gender, men are chocolate ice cream and women are vanilla ice cream.
A kinsey 0 woman says "I would never touch vanilla ice cream"
A 1 says "I only really like chocolate ice cream, but I could probably put up with/enjoy vanilla if I had to"
And a 2 says "I absolutely adore both flavors, but my taste buds lean toward chocolate only a little more"

I think I'll probably be a 1.5 I don't know! It's so confusing. I currently like one girl and even though other girls are pretty and all of that I don't feel anything towards them... And I've tried to too because I used to think that there was only one "true" sexual preference... Either guys or girls and that bisexuality or heteroflexible doesn't exist.

I never said thank you so much for your response, lately I've been thinking about it more and more. For the time being, I feel comfortable with a 1 and that's a huge step for me to even say! Thanks
