Alright, as some of you know I finally got a job and it's at Lowe's as a cashier. It's a seasonal job but I truly hope that It can become permanent if I work hard enough. But I'm just wondering are they LGBT friendly?

My girlfriend is a cashier there and they have been great! A lot depends on the store and the management staff. Her boss let her take a leave of absence to get her name changed, get better from a busted tail bone and she got a nice review and raise after that. Just good people being nice. From an equality score, I don't know, but the mgmt staff have been nice. BTW - I work for a company that's huge, is privately owned and would probably not even get double digits in the HRC equality index and my experience has been awesome transitioning on the job, and being a lesbian.
