Is it gay for a guy to like Taylor Swift???

I feel way too biased answering this question... She is basically my favorite singer. But if I saw another guy listened to her, I wouldn't think much of it. But that is because I believe that most guys secretly like some Taylor, Katy, Ke$ha, Gaga, or whatever.

But honestly too, in my mind, knowing that a guy really enjoys Taylor Swift would double the odds that he is gay imo.

 

I respectfully disagree. Somebody introduced me to a song called "Alright" by Justin Bieber. I could tell you before the first two verses were out that it was written for emotionally volatile 13 year old girls, aka his core target demographic. That's not to say that others CAN'T like it, but you won't find a lot of Vietnam veterans squealing at a JB concert.

 

I listen to her, but my opinion is viod because I'm Fabulous ; )

 

I like her music, and I'm gay. But that doesnt mean there's any special relationship between the two. Hell, I have a friend that loves lady gaga and Britney spears...and he's straight.

I received her album Red for Christmas, so if liking Taylor Swift is something that makes you "gay", that's like the one thing I've got that makes me obvious. xD

 

The BESTEST Christmas present EVER!!! Lol. I mean it is pretty judgemental but yeah she makes you more likely gay. Despite this, I do know a couple guys who are straight who like her and have some songs. Whole CDs? I dont think so.

 

Lol I used to not like her songs cuz all she sing about is guys that she dated! I still kinda don't like her songs but there r 2 songs that I like & one's not about guys at all but one is >_<

Depends on why they like her. I don't think many straight guys like girl singers unless it's hard rock like evanescence. But, if a guy who likes girls (she's, at least in my eyes, is a perfect 10) is asked - they might say "she's hot" and maybe even listen to her music based off of that. So, not really a tell-tale sign. A boy-band though, that'd be a sign.

 

Its gay for a guy to like guys. Not Taylor Swift.

 

It's all about what you relate to really isn't it? I relate much better to the lyrics below than taylor's never ending quest to find a bloke. But you know if you relate to taylor swift and like her songs who really cares.
