Technicaly, christian gays don't go to hell, and even non-christian gays aren't in hell forever. God gave us free will, so, he didn't technicaly create you, he created your ancestors, and somehow something happened so that the first homosexual came to be. Yeah. I'm not sure if anything I just said makes sense, but if it did I hope it helped.

I personally don't know if believe gods exists anymore. It seems nice to have a reassuring thought that someone's watching over you sometimes, but then again, i don't identify much with the God protrayed in Christian and Muslims scriptures much more, so I dunno really.

There was a point in my life where I was struggling with the same thing, and led me on a two year journey of "soul searching." Which in turn led me to accepting my sexuality, and finding "God" in my own way. The truth is only you can answer that question for yourself. And it honestly may take years, like it did for me. But the closest thing I could find for me to actually proving god existence is Near Death Experience stories (NDE). I suggest reading a few if you ever have time. As one person put it. If 1 Million astronauts went to Mars and everyone of them came back and all said there were aliens living there would you believe them? Well there have been over 24 million documented cases of people who have physically died, and came back to life to tell of there "experience on the other side" (NDE). Which I've always found interesting.

I don't believe that God exists in the way that any of the major religions claim.

I think there's a possibility that there is some sort of entity, creator, force or whatever that humans might perceive as god-like, but I also think there's a possibility there is not.

However, I don't think this is a question anyone else can answer for you. It's possible there is no god, it's also possible there is, but whatever religion you grew up with his wrong about that god's intentions, abilities, requirements or whatever. There could very well be a god that doesn't gaf about any of the things that the various religions tell people they have to do in order to make god happy.

God may or may not be an invention of man, but religion most assuredly is and thus is subject to all of man's many flaws.

My struggle with matters of faith occurred long before my struggle with sexuality. Personally I don't believe there is any personal, creator and intervening god or after-life which highlights the importance of the life we have in here and now. I realized that my faith had no evidence and that I believed only because I was taught to believe. I was laughing at the ridiculousness of other religions while failing to see it in my own faith.

Sure, in some ways I miss the times I believed in god, but just because I wish he existed doesn't make him real.

Personally, I don't believe, but God could.

Never know what gender pronoun to give God, and it's not like we can ask. I skiped it out on an RS GCSE essay, but it lost me SPaG marks, and if God does exist, I think God would want me to do well.

From my personal view on religion, I'm an atheist, I believe there may or may not be a God, I just don't know which one of the thousand is the right one, I believe that there are angels and demons, but I also believe that some of the things in the Bible might not be true, like how did Moses split the sea, I don't see how that works, I believe that everything was created by reactions not by a higher being.
But, it is totally possible for you to go back to Christianity.
I even once tried it, but, I couldn't, I just didn't see any logic in religion, not to offend anyone, but I just couldn't see how anything was possible. For example how would they be able to write the Genesis if paper wasn't invented yet?
So if I am proven wrong, completely wrong and I accept that, I might go back to Christianity
